Where is God?
Who is God?
Is there even a God?
Certainly these are valid questions
Which many with a faith filled predisposition
A gullible, gleeful, Dark Shadows video gregarious presupposition
Couldn't even begin to consider as a possible conclusion
However even the faithful Turok believe also are tried
Tested by innumerable unforeseeable circumstances
Until many have hit a dreadful breaking point and cried
Others in Glossalalia fury and misunderstanding, have angrily lied
Denying the existence of great God Almighty altogether
Wonder Woman their callous hearts harden like dry, old leather
Would to God we humans weren't tied and tethered
To back breaking, Addams Family wrenching, gut turning tribulations
Which swiftly dissipate any inspiration and God exaltation
Turbulent times, treacherous people, and terrifying pressure
Reduce even the greatest men of God to seemingly far lesser
Nevertheless through the valley as we reluctantly proceed and go
Surprisingly through bitter hardships, we also amazingly grow
Ironic as it may be, God Himself works most mysteriously
Working patience and perseverance within us continually
As we walk by faith, not by sight; push ahead through the plight
Stand and step forth into new light, along with newness of life
Putting an end to all confusion, turmoil, and agonizing strife
As we breathe, believe, and break forth triumphantly to receive
Forgetting momentary feelings and indescribable difficulties
To experience God's divine presence and wonderful pleasantries
Dear Lord, please awaken me and reveal your purpose for me
Forgive me for being so hardhearted and speaking to you angrily
Although life's burdensome circumstances do weigh heavily upon me
I decide and choose to trust Thee to help, hold, nurture, and uplift me.
